
David Charles Snell is a
Washington native who earned his degree in Psychology from the
University of Washington in 1983. He pursued careers in counseling
and corrections until 1987, when he began his legal education. David
was a Law Review Associate Editor and received his Juris Doctor, cum
laude, from the University of Puget Sound (now Seattle University)
School of Law in 1990.
Mr. Snell has represented thousands of
injured and disabled clients at Small, Snell, Weiss and Comfort
since 1990. His AV–Rated practice focuses on the management and
litigation of personal injury and Workers’ Compensation cases.
David also serves as an arbitrator in various personal injury
matters from Pierce, King, Thurston and Kitsap Counties.
He served as 80th President of the Tacoma/Pierce County
Bar Association (est. 1883) from 2009-2010, Editor of the TPCBA Bar
News, Vice-President from 2008-2009 and as a trustee for the TPCBA
in 2000-2001, and has chaired other local bar committees.
Mr. Snell is a frequent guest lecturer and member for various legal
and educational committees; particularly Washington State
Association for Justice (WSAJ) He is a featured author in WSAJ’s
Automobile Accident Litigation Deskbook (2000 & 2010);
Pleadings and Practice CD-ROM Handbook (2003) and Workers’
Compensation Deskbook (2009). He has also chaired WSAJ’s
Workers’ Compensation Committee, and co-chaired the annual Workers
Compensation seminar a number of times.
Mr. Snell is the Treasurer and a trustee of Brooklake Community
Church in Federal Way, and chaired the Fife Civil Service Commission
and was a Commissioner for several years. David especially enjoys
the outdoors and traveling with his wife Kim and his three children.
