
Kathy Comfort was born and raised
in the Skagit Valley. She graduated from Walla Walla College in
1986 with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and a Minor
in Journalism. She attended law school at the University of Puget
Sound, graduating cum laude in 1989.
Ms. Comfort is a
principal in the law firm of Small, Snell, Weiss & Comfort, P.S.
She interned with the firm while in law school, and has practiced
there ever since passing the bar exam. Ms. Comfort limits her
practice to workers compensation, social security disability and
other medical-legal claims.
She has served as
chair of the Washington State Association for Justice Workers
Compensation Section, and is a member of WSAJ, AAJ, and the
Tacoma-Pierce County Bar Association. She is a past trustee,
secretary and president of the Pierce County Young Lawyers Division,
and has served as a trustee on the Tacoma-Pierce County Bar
Association board as well.
Ms. Comfort enjoys
her family, friends, travelling and reading a good book. |
